Deadpool is ready for his next career! He is a young, gentle giant with a true in-your-pocket, puppy-dog personality. He’s got a super brain and is a quiet-minded individual.

He is barefoot & sound– he’s walking and trotting like a champ under saddle. He stands quietly on crossties and loves to be groomed.

We have ridden him in our indoor, outdoor arenas, and cross-country field– and he is happy to do so alone or with a friend.

He gets along great with other horses (big & small), but is also happy to be turned out by himself.

He stands like a gentleman for farrier, dentist, dewormer, and shots (and is up-to-date on all!).

The cons:

Our vet says he is unlikely to jump 4’ fences or canter like a fancy dressage horse. 🙁 (Please don’t ask if he jumps; he’s only 3, so we will not ask him to.)

His trot is very bouncy, so if you’re looking for a super-smooth ride, he is not your guy. 🤷

Due to his age, we haven’t cantered him much under saddle (slow & steady wins the race!). 🐎 He has offered a few steps here and there, and is happy to come back to a trot right away.

His tail is docked, so it’s about 9” long (but he loves his fake tail). 💈

He’s not yet ready for a beginner to pick up all 4 of his feet (but he does very well with someone who knows what they’re doing). 🐾
