Working Students must be:
Current FMF riders
At least 12 years old
Reliably on-time!
Outgoing, friendly, and kind to EVERYONE– human and equine
Responsible, thorough, and orderly in work habits
Helpful to others
Willing to learn new skills
Self-motivated and ready to work hard!
Working students get to:
Earn credit towards lessons, clinics, Practice Rides, & more!
Learn valuable skills
Educate new riders
Working student jobs include:
Greeting new riders
Assisting with lessons
Grooming and general horse care (treatments, turn-out, blanketing, etc.)
Feeding and watering
Mucking stalls and paddocks
Cleaning tack
Facilities maintenance (watering arenas, cleaning water troughs, etc.)
Other duties as assigned
