Barn Staff | Farrier/Farrier Helper

Barn Staff

We are currently looking to employ a new barn staff member.

Primary duties include: Giving horses hay/feed/water; turning horses in/out; mucking stalls/paddocks.

Open shifts currently include:

Mornings (approx. 7am-11am) Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday

Afternoons (approx. 2pm-6:30pm) Monday-Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly pay to reflect experience and skills demonstrated; opportunity for raise after 2-week training & trial period.

Full-time employees with adequate riding experience are granted one free group lesson per week.

Requirements:

Reliable transportation, 18+ years of age, consent to a background check, and legally be able to work in the U.S.

Farrier/Farrier Helper

We are looking to employ a new farrier and/or farrier helper to work in Carroll County, MD (and the surrounding area).

The ideal applicant has an interest in horseshoeing and either plans to go to farrier school, is in training, or has recently finished their training.

This is a primarily part-time opportunity, with the possibility of full-time employment at the barn.

Looking to hire immediately or in the near future.

Houly pay to reflect experience and skills demonstrated.

Full-time employees with adequate riding experience are granted one free group lesson per week.

Requirements:

18+ years of age, pass a background check, and legally be able to work in the U.S.

Must have reliable transportation. Non-smoker highly preferred.
