Full-Time Team Member

We are seeking a committed full time employee to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to make the position your own, working with your strengths and interests.

Must-Haves:

21+ years of age, pass a background check, and legally be able to work in the U.S.

Live within 45 minutes of Finksburg, MD, or willing to relocate

2+ years of horse experience (preferably more, but we all have to start somewhere!)

Able to work 40 hours/week (5 days/week)

Willing & able to perform general barn duties

Looking to take on additional duties that fit your goals and our needs

Ready to work additional/ad-hoc tasks in preparation for shows, summer camps, and other events

Bonus points if you…

Want to live on-site

Have teaching/coaching experience and leadership skills

Have horse training/sales experience

Compensation dependent on individual experience:

Base of $20-$25/hour, with increased rates for teaching time.

Discounted Board for one horse, valued at $1000/month

Opportunity for discounted on-site housing (private or shared), valued at $1500+/month

Farrier/Farrier Helper

We are looking to employ a new farrier and/or farrier helper to work in Carroll County, MD (and the surrounding area).

The ideal applicant has an interest in horseshoeing and either plans to go to farrier school, is in training, or has recently finished their training.

This is a primarily part-time opportunity, with the possibility of full-time employment at the barn.

Looking to hire immediately or in the near future.

Requirements:

18+ years of age, pass a background check, and legally be able to work in the U.S.

Must have reliable transportation.

Non-smoker highly preferred.

Benefits:

Houly pay (starting at $15/hr) to reflect experience and skills demonstrated.

Full-time staff members (40+ hours/week) with appropriate riding experience are eligible for one free group lesson per week.
