May Recap

May 31, 2021

It’s been a busy year!

Here’s what we’ve accomplished at FMF this month:

  • We held our first Open House of 2021 on May 1st. Join us for future Open Houses on the first Saturday of each month through September!
  • Our first group of riders competed at Lehigh on May 2nd, while another group of riders competed at Waredaca.
  • We hosted a fabulously fun Paint & Pour Night hosted by the lovely Megan.
  • Ms. Marisa and Ms. Suzanne hosted our Health & Safety Clinic on May 22nd! Attendees mastered the skills of wrapping hooves, putting on standing wraps, taking temperatures, bridging reins, doing emergency dismounts, and more!
  • The first Farm Family Insurance Jackalope Enterprises (FFIJE) Show of the season on May 23rd was a huge success!
  • On May 27th we took not one, not two, but THREE trailers of horses to Shawan Downs for XC schooling!
  • We kicked off our fundraising efforts for our newest project– a gorgeous tack room for our boarders. We’ve got raffles planned for many weeks to come… From a spa day for your favorite horse, to naming a new horse, to a photo shoot at the farm… we’ve got some great opportunities for everyone!
  • Weeks 1 & 2 of our Summer Camp filled up this month. With just a few spots remaining in Week 3, you don’t want to wait!
  • Registration opened for our 2021 Quarter Star 3-Day Event and Clinics! Eventers: Be sure to register ASAP!
