2025 FMF Planning Guide
We’ve been carefully planning all of our fun events for this year.
Mounted events are suitable for riders of nearly any level, and you don’t need to own or lease a horse to participate! Ship-ins are welcome for all clinics and shows listed.

February 22: Winter Equitation & Jumper Show (A great low-stress first show experience, and a perfect way to practice for equitation finales and the FFIJE show series.)
March 22-April 12: XC 101 & XC 2.0 Clinic Series (Weekly on Saturday afternoons, leading up to our April Horse Trials. | FREE lectures on 3/18 & 3/19!)
April 19: Spring Thing Recognized Horse Trials (Offering Dressage Tests of Choice, Combined Tests, & full HT from Poles-M/T– with all the hybrid divisions you could want! We will need lots of volunteers.)
May 11, June 8, July 6, August 24, & September 7: FFIJE Show Series (Offering Equitation, Hunter, & Jumper classes. | A great show, whether it’s your 1st or 50th or 500th!)
June 23-27, July 14-18, & August 11-15: FMF Summer Camp (Camp is designed for ages 5-12. Book now for the Early Bird discount! | Older than 12? Email chryzak@gmail.com to let Ms. Christine know you want to be a counselor/helper.)
July 7-11: Eventing Camp & Competition (Registration via Hopoti. – Open to eventers & future eventers of all ages– adults too! Offers a safe and educational environment, with detailed instruction for every phase. The week includes lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, and ends with our Friday Horse Trials. Limited on-site stabling available.)
July 11: Friday Unrec. HT (Offering Dressage Tests of Choice, Combined Tests, & full HT from Poles-M/T– with all the hybrid divisions you could want! Open to all competitors, not just those doing the eventing camp. Will need lots of volunteers.)
October 18: MARS Maryland 5* at Fair Hill (Come see us at our Cross-Country Tailgate spot!)
November 9: Fall Recognized Horse Trials (Offering Dressage Tests of Choice, Combined Tests, & full HT from Poles-M/T– with all the hybrid divisions you could want! We will need lots of volunteers.)
In the Works…
Spring-Fall: We’ll host monthly Parent & Me (ages 2-5) & Sunday Fundays (barn tours & $5 rides).
Summer: We’ll be visiting local libraries with one of our adorable miniature horses, and we’ll have tryouts for our fall/winter season equitation teams.
October: Join us for our 6th Annual Trunk-or-Treat and Horse Parade.
Winter: Our annual winter clinic series will be held over the holiday break.
