and Beginning Horseback Riding

Welcome to Full Moon Farm! We’re pleased to welcome you to the sport of horses and horseback riding. We have a lot of fun activities planned along with learning some really interesting things about horses. You’ll spend your sessions with hands on activities with the horses as well as your riding time, so pay close attention to the following information and list of things you need to bring with you.

1. Wear long pants – preferably jeans

2. Wear a hard soled shoe with a heel – no tennis shoes or open toed shoes.

3. Approved riding helmet – your own or we will provide.

4. Water bottle

5. Long hair must be tied back

6. Signed Full Moon Farm release form and Freedom Area Rec registration/release form.

The farm will provide all other supplies and equipment needed for the six-week program.

Classes in the Spring 2016 session are 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, and 4/30. All classes are 1.5 hours long and run from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.
