##remember we want you to feel competent. You should be able to warm-up for dressage or tack for xc without someone holding your hand, at the same time you need access to a hand-holder or butt kicker when necessary. That is why when the farm goes to a particular HT, everyone that goes that day, goes as part of our team. So when your truck breaks down, or your tack needs adjusted or your horse torques a shoe we all have your back, or , more importantly when you feel lost or don’t know what you are doing, even if you don’t know (that you don’t know) what your doing- we will.
***AEC’s yes or no…timing of stuff-..may not be a next year..especially as the horses get older…
PROCEDURE FOR SIGN-UPS
*Look at events board…go over sign-up sheet..some may say need instructor’s approval. For HT’s you are responsible for sending your entries in, getting them signed, coggins, etc in a timely fashion..closing date.
*for shows your $ is due that day for coaching/shipping/horse, separate check to entries…
OTHER FMF THINGS:
*1/4 star HT, big deal, need lots of help, more of a clinic than camp…riders must be independent, completed one off the farm HT at that level. Entered…outside folks..pray no more snow days!
*will have an ‘eventing clinic’ 3-days for folks that the ¼ star may be inappropriate for..in April over spring break, m-T-W?? APRIL 6,7,8 or 9,10th??? Thoughts?
*Horsemanship series-Kate
*Trialrides? Interest???
OTHER REALLY IMPORTANT FMF STUFF:
*Dress code for lessons
*BEING ON TIME for lessons…economy time you have already paid for….
If lesson starts at 6:30 you should be at the arena door at 6:30 not leaving the grooming barn.
*Parents paid for studs, should be in for every jumping lessons
*Lights and electricity….Grooming barn…off when you leave…
*If 3 side doors are open during the day in arena, should not need lights on
